Dementia Action Alliance
Recognising the importance of supporting those living with Dementia, the Dementia Action Alliance works to promote a society-wide response to the disease. Operating on both a national and a local scale, the alliance has shaped both policies and attitudes.

Dementia Friends is an Alzheimer’s Society Initiative aiming to educate communities, and help those living with Dementia lead an improved and more supported life. The campaign has now been launched on a national scale and Lily Pins, as a Dementia Friend, encourages everyone to make a real difference to someone’s life by joining the campaign.
Friends of Care Homes
A project co-ordinated by Vicky Churchill who works to close the gap between Care Homes and residents’ families. The not-for-profit project organises entertainment for residents, offering live performers and organised activity days. The service compliments the work of an establishment’s Activities Co-ordinator, simply introducing variety to Residents.
Vicky is extremely passionate about improving the alliance between Care Home Establishments and residents’ families, in a way that focuses on and is beneficial to the resident.
The Jawagroup is a family run care group, with luxury care establishments in South East London. The group is the most innovative organisation with which Lily Pins works, providing an outstanding level of care through sensory recognition techniques. Tailored to the needs of each and every resident, the establishments exhibit typically London features offering a welcoming and reminiscent tone.
Quantum Care Group currently has 26 care establishments across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. Lily Pins has been offering a service to this care group since 2001, and believe they are an outstanding organisation.
Formed in 1992, Quantum Care now helps more than 3,000 older people ‘retain their independence and live life to the full’.
Sohal Healthcare Ltd
Operating in the East of England, Sohal is a group of six care establishments offering a homely setting and great level of care. Respecting older people’s privacy, independency and dignity, the company’s core principles are reflected in each establishment.
Lily Pins has offered services to half of the care group and enjoy working alongside Sohal.
